We support the welfare of journalists.

Journalist Fund

We provide financial assistance for journalists to help them earn living and purchase houses. We provide these loans from the Journalist Fund at low interest rates for journalists affiliated with the member companies of the Fund.

Eligibility

full-time employees (not executives) of Journalist Fund member companies who have worked at those companies for at least one year.

Korea Integrated Newspaper Database System (KINDS)

KINDS, by far Korea’s largest reservoir of newspaper articles and databases since 1990, provides newspaper articles and search engine services encompassing the 10 nationwide daily newspapers, 25 local daily newspapers, economic and business newspapers, and Internet newspapers being published in Korea. This comprehensive news archive also provides articles from historic newspapers, such as Korea’s first Hanseong Sunbo, The Doknip Shinmun, The Hwangseong Shinmun, and The Maeil Shinmun (www.kinds.or.kr)

Media Gaon: A media search engine, first established on March 17, 2008 (www.mediagaon.or.kr)
